McDonald's Chicken McNuggets
Prep Time: 20 mins I Cooking Time: 45-50 mins I Serving: 2-3

Ingredients :-
For Spice Mix :-
½ tsp Oregano
½ tsp Parsley
½ tsp Thyme
½ tsp Red Chilli Flakes
⅛ tsp/Pinch Of Baking Powder
For Marinade :-
½ kg / 1.1 pound of Chicken Thighs (2 inch-cubed, washed and pat dry)
½ tsp White Pepper Powder
½ tsp Garlic Powder
½ tsp Onion Powder
½ tsp Coriander Powder
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder(Paprika)
Spice Powder Mix
Salt to taste
1 tsp Olive Oil/Veg Oil
For Coating :-
6 tbsp. All Purpose Flour
2 tbsp. Maize Flour
3 tbsp. Corn Flour/Corn Starch
¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder
¼ tsp Red Chilli Powder(Paprika)
Salt to taste
Water (enough to make a thick batter)
For Frying :-
Veg Oil (enough for deep frying)
Method :-
For Spice Mix :-
Add all the ingredients mentioned under the Spice Mix list to the grinder jar. Grind to fine powder and set aside
For marinating :-
In a large bowl add chicken tenders and all the ingredients mentioned under the marinade list one by one. Mix well until the chicken cubes are well coated with the spice ingredients
Refrigerate, covered for about 1 hour
For coating :-
In a large bowl add all the ingredients mentioned under the coating section one by one and mix well. Slowly add water to the bowl and whisk. Keep adding water gradually till a thick batter coating is formed. Set aside
For frying :-
In a large pan/kadai, heat the vegetable oil to 375 degree F / 190 degree C
Dip the marinated chicken nuggets into the batter and slide them into the hot oil one by one. Fry the coated chicken nuggets in batches for about 5-7 minutes and then with the help of a fork/spoon flip over to fry the other side for another 3-4 minutes. Do not overcrowd and stir or else the coating will come out
Fry till golden in colour for the crispy layer outside and tender inside
Next, with the help of a slotted spoon dish out and transfer the chicken nuggets onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess oil completely
Similarly, prepare the remaining chicken nuggets
Once done transfer the chicken nuggets onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain the excess oil completely and switch off the gas
Time to taste:)
