How to Make a Healthy and Delicious Chicken, Broccoli and Mushroom Stir Fry at Home

Chicken & Broccoli and Mushrooms Stir Fry is a healthy and perfect addition to any meal. These kinds of recipes are always my favourites because they are so versatile. Broccoli Chicken Stir-Fry with button mushroomsis a great option for weeknights because it's quick to make. Addition of garlic, black pepper & some toasted seeds makes it super tasty.


Ingredients :- 


350 g. Chicken Breast (washed well & cut into 2 inch pieces)

½ tsp. Salt

¼ tsp. Red Chili Powder

¼ tsp. Black Pepper Powder

3 tbsp. Green Coriander (finely chopped)

2 tsp. + 4 tbsp. Veg Oil

250 g. Broccoli  (washed, cut into small florets)

1 Onion, large (finely chopped)

1 tsp. Ginger Garlic Paste

150 g. Button Mushrooms (stems removed & washed well)

Salt to taste

1 tsp. Italian Mix Seasoning Powder

1 tbsp. Peri Peri Powder Mix


¼ tsp White Sesame Seeds (toasted)


Method :-

Add chicken breast pieces to a medium bowl and then add salt + Red Chili Powder + Black Pepper Powder + finely chopped green coriander + veg oil. Mix well and set aside for 20 mins (covered)


Heat 2 tbsp of veg oil in a non-stick pan. Add broccoli florets to the pan and stir on low medium flame. Stir in regular intervals until broccoli starts turning golden on the outside. Once the broccoli gets almost cooked and is golden on outside, dish out on a plate and set aside (covered)


To the same pan add marinated chicken pieces and cook for 3-4 mins on low medium flame. Stir in regular intervals. Once the chicken is almost cooked dish out and set aside (covered)


To the same pan add another 2 tbsp of veg oil. Next, add the chopped onions + ginger garlic paste to the pan. Mix well and sauté for 1-2 mins on low-medium flame. Stir in regular intervals


Add cooked broccoli florets + cooked chicken + mushrooms + italian seasoning + peri peri powder mix to the pan, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes on low-medium flame. Stir occasionally. Once the mushrooms are cooked properly then switch off the gas


Transfer to the serving plate/bowl and garnish with toasted sesame seeds


Time to Taste:)


Enjoy with coffee/tea and crispy toasted bread with sunny side up.
