Lemon Butter Garlic Fish

Lemon Butter Garlic Fish is super easy to make and comes together in under 20 minutes with a handful of simple ingredients. The secret is browned butter with golden garlic and lemony texture. It’s a delicious and nutritious fish recipe using firm white fish fillets. Pair with herbed garlic potatoes, veggies of your choice for a healthy weekend lunch/dinner.


Ingredients :-


For Marinating :-


1 large/350 g. Sea Bass Fillet (washed & pat dry)

1 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Black Pepper Powder


For Pan Frying :-

1.5 tbsp. Veg Oil 40 g./2 Chiplet Butter (salted) 8-10 Garlic Cloves (finely chopped) 2 tsp. Lime Juice 1 tsp. Italian Seasoning Mixed Herbs 3-4 Coriander Sprigs (finely chopped)


Process :-


For Marinating :-


Place the fish fillet on the chopping board and cut into 5 inch big pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Rub gently. Cover it and set aside to marinate for 20 mins


For Fish Pan Frying :-


Heat oil + butter on a low-medium flame in a non-stick pan. Once the butter starts melting add the marinated fish fillets to the pan and cook for 3-4 mins on low med flame. After 3-4 mins flip over to cook the other side of the fish for another 3-4 mins


Next, lower down the flame and add finely chopped garlic + lime juice to the pan and mix well. Flip over and cook the fillets for another 2-3 mins on low flame


Once the fish turn golden on the outside and fully cooked from the inside, garnish with a tsp of mixed herb Italian seasoning and finely chopped coriander and switch off the gas.


Transfer the fish to the serving plate and glaze the fish with the cooked oil and garnish with some more freshly chopped coriander


Time to Taste:)


Serve with a chilled drink of your choice like pina colada, lemon ice tea etc.
