Orange wedges, soy sauce, and plenty of garlic coat these wings with fabulous flavor. I really love the combination of sweet and spicy flavors on starters. If you like chicken wings, you're going to love these! They're a little sweet, a little spicy, and oh-so finger lickin' good.

Ingredients :-

For Marinade :-

1 kg/2.2 lb. Chicken Wings (Whole - divided into drumettes and flats, washed properly & pat-dry) Salt to taste 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce 1 tbsp. Rice Vinegar

1.5 tbsp. Honey ¼ tsp. Sesame Oil 2 tsp. Cooking Wine

1 tsp. Brown Sugar

1 tsp. Red Chili Flakes

Salt to taste ⅛ tsp. Baking Powder

For Sauce :-

1.5 tbsp. Vegetable Oil 8-10 Garlic Cloves (finely chopped) 1 Orange, (seeded & cut into wedges) 2 tsp. Mustard Sauce 1 tbsp. Hot Chili Sauce (sriracha) 1 tbsp. Tomato Ketchup ¼ tsp. Black Pepper Powder 1-2 tsp. White Sesame Seeds (toasted)

Method :-

For Marinating :-

In a large bowl add the chicken wings and next, add all the ingredients mentioned under the marination list one by one. Mix well until all the chicken wings gets well coated with the marinade

Cover it & keep in refrigerator for minimum 3 hrs./overnight for best results

For Pan Frying :-

Next day, take out the marinated chicken wings from the refrigerator and mix again with the marinade and set aside

Heat 1.5 tbsp of vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over a low medium flame. Place the marinated chicken wings in the pan. Cover and cook for 15-20 mins on low flame. Stir in regular intervals

After 10-12 mins remove the lid and stir and roast the wings until golden on outside

Once the wings turn golden on outside, lower down the flame and dish out the roasted wings on a plate and set aside (covered)

To the same pan add garlic and stir for 30 seconds. Next add the orange wedges to the pan and cook for a minute. Once the orange wedges starts caramelizing, turn to caramelize the other side

Add cooked chicken wings + mustard sauce + sriracha + tomato ketchup + black pepper powder + the remaining marinade to the pan. Mix well with the sauce and cook for 2-3 mins on low medium flame until the sauce thickens. Stir continuously

Once the sauce thickens and the chicken wings gets evenly coated with the sticky sauce, turn off the flame

Transfer the chicken wings to the serving plate and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve with dip of your choice

Time to taste:)

Serve with the dip of your choice and a chilled drink:)
